Searching
You can search all Confident Life Members on the site. All you need to do is register by clicking on New Members, click here on the right hand side of this page, register, and get your verification e-mail and log on to the site. If you are an existing member log on by entering your e-mail address and password in the boxes under the words Members Sign In. Once you are your home page go to the Find Friends tab and leaving the first name, last name and email boxes blank, unless you are searching for a specific person click the go button. This will take you to all the members on the site. Click the page numbers at the bottom of the list of members to go to the next page of members’ details. Bookmark all the people you would like to contact by clicking on their photo or name under their photo and, you will be taken to their home page and for example if you would like to save details of Jane click Bookmark Jane on the right hand side of the page. You can then return to the members you have bookmarked when you have finished searching so you send them messages.
Sending Messages to Members
You are here to meet new people so how do you make contact? The first thing you need to do is find someone who you would like to contact by searching the members using the search facility described above. Once you have found someone click on their photo or their username below their photo, to go to their profile page. From here you will be able to select the ‘Add <Name> as a friend’ link on the right hand side column. Once you have clicked on this you will be taken to an e-mail box which will have Invitation to join your network as the subject title. In the box below put a personal message to introduce yourself and ask them to accept your invitation and join your network so you can make contact and then click send.
Messages
If you receive an Invitation to be my friend in your mail inbox from anyone on the site asking you to be their friend, say YES!! You never know what could happen next! All you need to do is to log on to the site (go to your homepage), look at the right-hand column if you have an invitation it will say ‘invitation to join <name of member> network’ click ‘view’ and then click accept/ deny. Make sure you accept as many invitations as possible if someone turns out to be a nuisance you can always add then to your Ignore List on your home page to block their messages.
Profiles
To make full use of the Profile pages on the site, we cannot urge you enough to fill it in as much as possible and include a photo of yourself. Just click ‘profile edit’, ‘photo’ then upload your photo. Then choose your favourite photo and click ‘set as main’, so everyone can see it.
